Who Pays for What in the Wedding?
This is a very common cause for stress in the wedding planning of most families. Many years ago, the tradition was for the bride’s parents to cover most of the expenses of the wedding, with the groom’s parent’s handling the financial responsibilites of the rehearsal dinner. But, times have changed tremendously where this is concerned. And, there are many interpretations for who pays for what. Normally today, the expenses are shared among parties, and those who are best equipped to handle the expenses, often step up and handle them as required.
